Spotlight On: Harbor Harvest
Just because the summer is over doesn’t mean the fun has to be! We’re excited for our annual Harbor Harvest Children’s Festival. We’re bringing the best of the country to the city for a fall event sure to delight kids of all ages.
This year we are expanding our hay maze. Kids will be able to crawl, explore, and play in a massive construction designed for maximum fun! We are also expanding our petting zoo with more room and more animals! Also new this year are pumpkin carving demonstrations. Our friends at IceLabs will be there to show up every jack-o-lantern in town with their amazing carving skills. Watch them defy expectations and create beautiful pieces of art from seasonal gourds.
We’ll also have plenty of live kids entertainment. Joyful Bubbles will join us making larger than life bubbles to float overhead. Baltimore Rec and Parks will be showing old school cartoons in an outdoor movie theater with FREE popcorn. We’ll also have two crowd pleasing children’s bands there: the Rocknocerus and fan favorite Uncle Devins Band. They are sure to get your little one wiggling, dancing and singing along.
Most of the activities at Harbor Harvest are free. The exceptions are pony rides, the pumpkin patch, and trackless train rides which all require a fee to participate. Each will cost $5 at the event but you can save by buying a $10 All-Inclusive-Kids Pass ticket online before the event. Hurry! Advanced ticket sales will end at 12 noon on Friday, Oct. 4.
